Comite Hills Homeowners Organization

Comite Hills Homeowners' Organization (CHHO) needed a secure, members-only home for the information residents rely on to stay engaged with their neighborhood. This SvelteKit application provides authenticated access to membership details, a financial transparency spending timeline, security and neighborhood-watch updates, subdivision covenants and restrictions, community services, and a news/blog feed, with a contact form for reaching the board. Only login, registration, and password reset are exposed publicly — every other page requires an authenticated session, backed by BetterAuth and a MySQL database managed through Drizzle ORM. The application is containerized with Docker and deployed on AWS App Runner, backed by AWS RDS, Secrets Manager, and VPC networking provisioned with Terraform.
